What is the Orca K-8 Move-a-thon?

The Orca K-8 Move-A-Thon is an annual event that raises support for our school’s legendary one-of-a-kind programs including the Orca Garden.

It is an inclusive event that celebrates every single student’s abilities as they move by dancing, running, walking and rolling around the Orca playground path for 2 miles.

The funds that students raise through pledges will go, in part, to the renovation of the playground, beloved by all families in our area. A true community event!

The Move-A-Thon is October 26th @9am on the Orca Playground.

Prizes for money raised by Orca Students:

$0-74: Pedometer

$75-149: Orca Move-A-Thon water bottle

$150-249: Orca Move-A-Thon T-shirt

$250 or more: $25 gift card to Third Place Books

Most Pledges Raised:

$100 gift card to Third Place Books PLUS

Orca Move-A-Thon water bottle & t-shirt

The Orca K-8 PTSA Move-A-Thon hopes to raise $15,000. We’re asking each student to raise at least $25.

Thank you for supporting Orca K-8!

Thank you to our sponsors!
